Susumu Suzuki, president of Total System Conductor from Tokyo claims to have invented prototype of AA batteries which are powered from water. Despite on running from water, these batteries give electric current comparable to present generation of manganese dioxide batteries. Suzuki reckons that these batteries will be a part of the future considering the facts that they can be produced cheaply and recycle a number of times.
