Lite-On, the optical disc manufacturer for HP said that they will be shipping 18X internal DVD writers with LightScribe support from next month. This is the highest speed available as of today and will be HP’s new writing standard, Lite-On claimed. Technically, it is named HPdvd940i and can record all types of DVD and CD formats.
