Fujitsu recalls 287,000 batteries

*Yawn* another laptop manufacturer, Fujitsu recalls 287,000 Sony make notebook batterries. The total figure has reached a staggering 7.5 million with Dell having the largest ever recall and being the first one to do so. No doubt, initially after the recall everyone was apprehensive to buy a Dell laptop but well a potential consumer will have to think twice before buying a particular company’s laptop. Maybe he should go for which does not have Sony batteries

This the second recall in this week though the amount of batteries is nominal, just 16,000 compared to Fujitsu’s 287,000 battery packs. There haven’t been any incidents occured on their laptops but to keep the consumers happy and to avoid probable fire risk, they will be giving a free replacement. [...]
