Finnish handset manufacturer, Nokia has developed a new short range wireless technology called as Wibree. The new technology aims to give stiff competition to Bluetooth. Wibree is more power efficient and improves itself on all the shortcomings of Bluetooth. Beacuse of its low power consumption, the Wibree radio chips can be integrated within shoes of a jogger which can communicate with the mobile phone or even in a golf club tracking the swing speed and much more.

  1. What do we need Wibree for? Nokia is just adding features that nobody needs to make the phones more expensive. These engineers have got nothing to do.
