Toshiba Zune gets FCC nod

Everyone in the world was expecting Zune to be Microsoft’s first PMP. Well, according to a recent FCC filing, Zune is a product of Toshiba and not Microsoft. The filing has the model no. 1089 which is identical to Zune along with its features. The PMP will have a 1.8″ 30GB hard drive, 3″ TFT LCD display, FM tuner, USB 2.0 and compatible with WLAN 802.11 b/g networks. There’s also a DJ mode which will enable Zune users to stream music while other Zune users can listen to it.
