Apple today announced a 17″ MacBook Pro at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) in Las Vegas. The 17″ one is also powered by an Intel Core Duo processor (2.16 GHz) and weighs 3kgs. The standard config comes with 1GB of RAM, an 8X dual-layer burner, a 120GB 5400 RPM hard drive, one FireWire 800 port, one FireWire 400 port, 3 USB 2.0 ports, a ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 graphics card, iSight, built in microphone and speaker, ExpressCard, OSX Tiger and iLife ‘06. Apple also offers a 100GB 7200 RPM drive and upto 2GB RAM as an option. It is priced at $2,799. Two more pics after the jump.
